Here’s a summary of the war for this spot.
Robbo had a piece here that had been there since the 80s.
Banksy went over it by painting a man rolling new wallpaper over the graffiti, incorporating Robbo’s piece into his, which is, in short, a very excellent burner.
Robbo made a new piece incorporating Banksy’s piece in his.
Banksy made a new piece incorporating Robbo’s in his.

I’m in powersearch mode right now to make up for the fact that I haven’t posted in forever and because I have only 57 followers. Get me more. I found a place in Tampa called Atomic Tattoos that may or may not have an artist there called “Lefty.”

I don’t know if he’s still there, considering the information was when the place was called “Concrete Ink.” Worth a shot though, I guess.

Here’s the address.

Buffmonster of Los Angeles, California
Buffmonster is an interesting artist in that his signature is to paint “The Buffmonster,” a character he created, on flattened spray cans, and then nail them to telephone poles and such.
